In der alten Serie nennt man die mechanischen Zylonen Zenturier im Singular und im Plural, während sie in der neuen Serie Zenturio im Singular und Zenturios im Plural heißen.
Die Zenturier sind die Arbeitspferde der Zylonen. Sie arbeiten als Infanteristen, Piloten und sogar als Kavalleristen. (Der verschwundene Krieger). Allem Anschein nach scheint es unterschiedliche Modelle zu geben. Rein äußerlich sehen sie gleich aus, unterscheiden sich aber in der Größe.
Ein Äquivalent zu diesem Modell taucht in der neuen Serie als Zenturier Modell 0005 in einem historischen Bezug auf.
Die "Unteroffiziere" haben ein goldfarbenes Äußeres, während die einfachen Dienstgrade verchromt sind.
Die "Offiziere" der mechanischen Zylonen, meist im Range eines Kommandanten, stellen die Modelle der IL-Serie dar, wie beispielsweise Baltars Assistent Lucifer.
