Anmerkungen
- Dies ist der letzte Auftritt des Erhabenen Führers, abgesehen von der Galactica 1980, und sein sichtbarster.
- Mit den Pegasus Viper-Piloten, die an Bord der Galactica gestrandet sind, wurden zwei neue wiederkehrende Charaktere hinzugefügt: die Leutnants Sheba und Bojay.
- Bojay war nur für einige Episoden zu sehen, mit seinem letzten Auftritt in "Teuflische Versuchung, Teil II".

In diesem Video steht Jollys Bericht am Anfang, gefolgt von der Patrouillenszene von Apollo und Starbuck. Die ersten 45 Minuten bis eine Stunde dieses Videos sind eher erzählerischer Natur, wobei einige Szenen vollständig aus den ursprünglich ausgestrahlten Folgen entnommen wurden.
Analyse
- Sheba wird zu einem wichtigen Charakter und letztendlich zu einem romantischen Interesse für Apollo. Ronald D. Moore hat in Interviews darauf hingewiesen, dass Sheba ursprünglich eine Gastauftritt war, die als weibliche Version des engagierten und grüblerischen Captain Apollo konzipiert wurde, und so eine dramatische Spannung erzeugt hat, die Apollo ähnelt, der ein Spiegelbild seiner selbst trifft. Nachdem dies mit der Figur von Kara Thrace erreicht worden war, war es nicht erforderlich, ein Gegenstück von Sheba zu erstellen, als die Pegasus in der neu-interpretierten Serie eingeführt wurde.
- Darüber hinaus scheint die Einführung eines weiteren Kindes eines Kampfsternkommandanten, das ein Viper-Geschwader befehligt, ein wenig offensichtlich zu sein, aber Sheba scheint schon früh ihre eigenen Eigenschaften zu haben. Zum Beispiel ist es humorvoll, Starbuck bei Apollos Dopplegänger passieren zu lassen, aber die schnelle Art und Weise, wie sie den dreisten Leutnant entlässt, hat vielleicht mehr mit der angespannten Beziehung zwischen Cain, Starbuck, Cassiopeia und Sheba zu tun. Die Cain/Sheba-Beziehung ist in der Serie sehr einzigartig und könnte darauf hindeuten, was Schriftsteller mit Athena zu tun gehofft haben.
- Von diesem Punkt an beschließen die Produzenten, Anne Lockharts Sheba an Bord der Galactica zu behalten, und sie nimmt schnell den Platz ein, den Athena ursprünglich im Programm haben sollte, während Athena selbst die Rolle der Grundschullehrerin zugewiesen bekommt. Bis "Die große Schlacht" ist Athena nicht mehr Teil der Show und Sheba nimmt die Rolle einer der beiden weiblichen Hauptrollen in der Serie ein.
- Interessanterweise scheinen Serina, Cassiopeia und Sheba, die die erfolgreichsten weiblichen Rollen in der Serie sind, Charaktere gewesen zu sein, die ursprünglich rausgeschrieben werden sollten, während Athena, der einzig geplante wiederkehrende Charakter, letztendlich rausgeschrieben wurde.
