Anmerkung: Diese Episode ist der zweistündige Pilotfilm für die Caprica TV Serie, dem ersten Ableger der neu-interpretierten Serie. Produziert wurde er von Remi Aubuchon, Ronald D. Moore und David Eick für den Syfy Channel. Der Film wurde noch vor der TV-Veröffentlichung auf DVD verbreitet. Zitat Joseph Adama: Du sollst wissen wer du bist. Zusammefassung Zoes Verbindung zum Zylonenprototyp macht es Daniel und seiner Firma schwierig, U-87 Einheiten zu duplizieren. Amanda schaut in das geheime Leben ihrer Tochter und erkennt, dass sie die reale Zoe kaum kannte. Schwester Clarice lädt Lacy zum Essen ein, während Sam beginnt, seinen schlechten Einfluss auf seinen Neffen auszuüben. Zitat Drew Tanner: Echt hammermäßig, dieses Gerät. Zusammefassung Daniel Graystone versucht sich in Schadensverminderung, angesichts der fälschlichen Veröffentlichung seiner Frau, dass ihre Tochter Schuld am Anschlag auf die Maglev 23 war. Unterdessen fährt Joseph Adama damit fort, den Avatar von Tamara wieder zu finden, während Willie Adama und Sam Adama sich weiter näher kommen. Schwester Clarice versucht Lacy dazu zu bringen ihr von Zoes Avatar zu erzählen, wohingegen die auf Wunsch von Zoe damit beginnt nach einem Weg zu suchen, sie nach Geminon zu bringen. Zusammefassung Daniel bereitet sich auf seinen Auftritt bei Backtalk with Baxter Sarno vor. Das Verteidigungsministerium führt Untersuchungen in der Athena Akademie und dem Heim der Graystones durch. Sam wartet geduldig auf den Moment, um Amanda zu töten, aber Joseph plagt sein schlechtes Gewissen und versucht verzweifelt Sam von der Ausführung des Befehls abzuhalten Zitat Ruth: You think you only get things from friends? Zusammefassung To continue her goal of obtaining Zoe's avatar, Clarice carries on her friendship with Amanda who is being haunted by visions of her dead brother. Heracles guides Joseph through the hazards of New Cap City. Zoe and Lacy continues their respective efforts to get the U-87 to Gemenon while Daniel is still being pressured by Vergis to sell the Caprica Buccaneers to help work on the meta-cognitive processor. Zusammefassung Daniel highly suspects that the Zoe avatar he thought was lost is still in the Cylon Prototype, so he puts the robot through a series of tests, hoping that it will lead Zoe to reveal herself to him. Zusammefassung When the demand for the Cylon production is dramatically changed to just a week, Daniel calls the order to clean the MCP, which will destroy the Zoe avatar in the process and forces her to take drastic actions to escape. Barnabas puts Lacy's allegiance to the STO to a test, as Clarice plans a trip to Gemenon. Amanda is haunted by visions of her brother and the allegations made by Vergis against her husband push her to the brink. Emmanuelle finds Tamara so as to finally take Joseph's quest to an end.
